How It Works
Each month, a theme will be announced and residents are invited to submit their best photos taken around Oude Chardonnay Estate to showcase the theme for that month. From breathtaking views of the Paarlberg and Franschhoek Mountains to candid moments of estate life, every snapshot tells a story. Here’s how you can get involved:
- Submit Your Photo: Capture a moment that showcases the beauty or community spirit of Oude Chardonnay in support of the theme for the month. Submit your photo via the Oude Chardonnay WhatsApp group by the last weekend of each month. Include your name, a brief description of the photo, and the date it was taken.
- Community Voting: All entries will be shared in a private WhatsApp poll for residents, accessible via the Oude Chardonnay WhatsApp Group. Voting opens soon after the last weekend of the month and closes on the 5 day of the following month. The photo with the most votes wins!
- Monthly Winner: The winning photo each month will be featured on our website, social media, and community newsletter, along with a special prize.
Annual Grand Finale
At the end of the year, all 12 monthly winning photos will compete in the Oude Chardonnay Photo of the Year competition. Residents will vote again to crown the ultimate winner, which will be showcased on the website, social media, and community newsletter, and awarded a grand prize.

Submission Guidelines
- Photos must be taken within Oude Chardonnay Estate.
- One submission per resident per month.
- Photos should respect the privacy of residents and avoid identifiable faces unless permission is granted.
- Submissions must be received by 23:59 on the last Sunday of each month.
